The melody for this song came to me in the night and stuck with me for months before I finally found the words. Opening the Bible to John 14:2 one evening, I read, "In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you" which inspired me to write about "The Place that my Savior made".
