Many songs I have written were inspired by a sermon at church. This song was inspired from a verse in Isaiah 53:2, "He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him" Our pastor pointed out that Jesus looked like anyone else of that period, in fact, Judas had to reveal Jesus by greeting Him with a kiss on the cheek. How awesome and humbling to know that our God walked amoung us as a simple man. How great is His love?
